A working list of BREAKERZ terms for noobs and vets alike. Most of this are related to DAIGO because he usually gets the most exposure and is arguably the most open when it comes to his family life. The idea also came from DAIGO☆ROCK’s glossary appendix. The list will be updated as needed.
Aki-sama – AKIHIDE’s nickname in BREAKERZ
Akimichirou – the pen name AKIHIDE used when he wrote the lyrics for KEY GOT CREW’s Boku no Chikara
Akki – AKIHIDE’s nickname in Acid Black Cherry
Akubi-kun – SHINPEI’s nephew whom he sometimes features in his blog posts
Aniki – What DAIGO usually calls Yasu (Acid Black Cherry, Janne da Arc)
Banisshu (Bunnysh) – DAIGO’s tagline for 2011. “Bunny” (2011 is year of the rabbit) and “wish” combined.
BOSS-chan – SHINPEI’s niece whom he often features in his blog posts
B’z - one of BREAKERZ’ respected bands; where the “Z” in BREAKERZ comes from; SHINPEI’s fan message to B’z can be seen in Disc III of B’z LIVE-GYM 2006 “MONSTER’S GARAGE.” He is reportedly a member of the fan club to this day. (Thanks Joe-san!)
BRZ – BREAKERZ’ shortened name
BRZ48 – BREAKERZ’ pseudonym when they impersonated AKB48 in VAMPS’ HALLOWEEN PARTY 2010.
Chappii (Chappy) – SHINPEI’s male pomeranian. The name comes from the color of his fur (“chairo” means “brown) and “Shinpii” (SHINPEI’s nickname in BREAKERZ).
D5 - what Yasu called DAIGO in an episode of Daian. DAIGO also referred to himself as “D5″ in a blog entry endorsing Audi A1.
DAIGO☆STARDUST – DAIGO’s solo act. After JZEIL and before BREAKERZ. The name is inspired by David Bowie’s Ziggy Stardust, whom DAIGO is a fan of.
Eiki Eiki (Naitou Eiko) – DAIGO’s elder sister. A popular BL/GL mangaka. Two of her works (DEAR MYSELF, WORLD’S END) feature characters whose names are the same as her brothers (大湖 and 博文; Daigo and Hirofumi in English translations)
FAIRY FORE – AKIHIDE’s former band signed under Avex. Before NEVER LAND and BREAKERZ.
Fuku-chan (Naitou Fukutarou) – DAIGO’s nephew whom he sometimes blogs about. Son of Naitou Hirobumi.
(Elegant) Grandma – refers to Takeshita Naoko, DAIGO’s grandmother. He often describes her as “elegant.”
Goripon – what Former PM Takeshita Noboru used to call DAIGO.
HYDE (L’Arc~en~Ciel/VAMPS) - One of BREAKERZ’ respected sempai‘s. DAIGO often refers to him as “kami” or “god.”
Jersey Aniki (Naitou Hirobumi) – DAIGO’s elder brother by blood. Called “jersey aniki” because he is always seen wearing a jersey. (Special thanks to Raatkerani for the furigana reading of “Hirobumi.”)
JZEIL – DAIGO’s former band. Before DAIGO☆STARDUST.
Ke-ra – the dog for the blind DAIGO took care of in a segment of the variety show Tensai! Shimura Doubutsuen
Kuraimu (Climb) - DAIGO’s catchphrase for 2010. He explained that “climb” is to signify energy going up. He also said that it refers to the English translation of his grandfather’s name “Noboru.”
Kyuu Kyuu – DAIGO’s catchphrase for 2009. “Kyuu kyuu” can also be found in the lyrics of BIG BANG! “Kyuu” means nine.
Le Creuset – the name of the fictitious band supposedly responsible for Kuroi Bara no Kahori, a song DAIGO wrote for the variety show Waratte Iitomo! Le Creuset is in actuality a brand of cookware.
Maji?! - One of the phrases DAIGO is known for; means “For real?!” or “Seriously?!”
Mamii (Mammy, Naitou Maruko) – what DAIGO calls his mom. In the lyrics of THE TRAIN’S GONE…, DAIGO writes, “My mammy’s waiting for me…”
Massuru (Muscle) – SHINPEI’s signature phrase. Just as DAIGO ends his sentences with “-uisshu,” SHINPEI ends his with “-massuru.” He often uses it in writing his blog entries.
MOON SIDE THEATER – a part of AKIHIDE’s website housing his various flash animations
NEVER LAND – AKIHIDE’s former band. After FAIRY FORE and before BREAKERZ.
Papii (Naitou Takenobu) – what DAIGO calls his dad. Writer for the Mainichi Daily News.
Penpen – the name of the rockhopper penguin DAIGO took care of in a segment of the variety show Tensai! Shimura Doubutsuen; the song “Wish” was written for her
Ririi-chan (Lily-chan) – Takeshita Naoko’s dog whom he often blogged about, even during his Stardust days
Rokku Sanpo (Rock Walk) – one of DAIGO’s signature moves
Sakura – the baby monkey DAIGO currently takes care of in a segment of the variety show Tensai! Shimura Doubutsuen
Shinpii/SHINP – SHINPEI’s nickname in BREAKERZ
Spacey Hug - one of DAIGO☆STARDUST’s signature moves
Summersol.10 - SHINPEI’s former band
Takeshita Noboru – former prime minister of Japan (1987-1989); DAIGO’s grandfather
Tashika nii - one of phrases DAIGO is known for. It means “certainly.”
Tsuchiya Anna – one of BREAKERZ’ respected sempai‘s; DAIGO called her “My Venus” in one DAIGO☆STARDUST interview
Uisshu (Wish) – DAIGO’s catchphrase for 2008.
Yasu (Acid Black Cherry) – one of BREAKERZ’ respected sempai‘s. DAIGO often refers to him as “Aniki” (big brother). AKIHIDE often plays support guitar for his ABC-related activities, too.
